It is obvious that genetics control most of your life: looks, height, athletic ability, intelligence, etc. If you mention any of this around the typical bluepilled person they will tell you that “hard work beats talent” and all other kinds of cope. I know myself because in my sport I put in like 2x the work of other people who are lazy as hell and skip/half ass practice all the time but I get beaten because they started before me or just have better build or something.
Genetics shouldn’t be an excuse to not work hard but the average person is way too oblivious to how much of an impact they have on your life.
Most people on forums like this eventually stop caring about looksmaxxing because they realize that the only things that actually work are controversial methods like steroids and surgery
Ways to actually improve your life have to be accessible to everyone and show obvious results like gymcelling (which is still affected heavily by genetics) and making money, which happen to have the most negative stereotypes like going to the gym is overcompensating, or making money and buying expensive things means you have a small dick. It’s scrutinized because all humans are programmed to look for is genetic potential
