No, but wouldn't that speed up the progression of many mental diseases long term?

Wouldn't it still increase progression of neurodegenerative diseases this is suggesting the immense amount of ROS can be fully compensated for via upregulation of Nrf2 along with AKT realistically it would still lead to a net negative of ROS, and from there the mTOR signaling increasing cytokine immune response in the brain, causing more overactive microglia, but could risk pruning of neurons via that; which mechanisms leading to overactive immune responses in general are majorly associated with the etiology of depression/alzhiemers, and increasing the cytokine immune response in the brain will also lead to activation of the kynurenine pathway also leading to increase production of quinolinic acid which will lead to neurotoxicity

the oxidative stress is not prolonged its not gonna be neurodegenerative hence why its a short treatment which is why the ros can be fully compensated from the nrf2
