Finally got my braces on today to start decomping for bimax, should take 6-9 months to get teeth into position for surgery, ideally wanna get it after my classes end in the mid half of May next year at the start of summer so then I have the whole rest of summer to recover and won't have to worry abt school or working

Fucking got delayed like 3 times once cuz I switched surgeons and therefore orthos too then they acc got delayed twice cuz of shipping mishaps

Got em on like 8 hours ago n there’s really not much pain at all the torque on my teeth is jus kinda like pressure through out n then I thought the brackets poking into my gums were gonna be terrible but they aren’t even that bad, think it’s cuz my teeth r all retroclined to hell lol

But what is a bitch is these bite blocks feel like they protrude a mile back into my mouth n they make me sound so fucking aspie and chewing with them is super weird cuz I can’t fully bite down have to eat like fucking Beavo jfl

Also some foid who volunteers at the ortho office around my age (also in college) gave me ioi while I was checking out n scheduling my next appointment cuz I said I’ll take the soonest available date n just hope it doesn’t conflict w my schedule for school cuz idk it yet n she was like omg what classes r u takingggggg n we talked back n forth a bit abt college n what we did over the summer basic small talk but it was my first time talking w braces literally right after I get them on n i felt so retarded but she was nice to me couldn’t really tell if it was like bent down on one knee make eye contact and smile at the autistic kid nice or genuine interest but I’ll take it regardless idc it’s nice to have immediately after u get looksmin to shit lol

Now i just gotta wait till surgery but I am also gonna get laser for my acne scars while I’m waiting and also look into under eye fat grafting cuz I have back of the hand thin skin around my eyes lmao but idk when imma get that done

Yea I was gonna go w Alfi cuz he was close enough for me to drive but him and his team were just not very transparent at all and on top of that I really didn’t trust his aesthetic capability which is the main reason I switched to Walline at LACOMs
