If you're a gymcel, you will minimize muscle loss if you eat carbs before and after your workouts. Some protein before the workout can help. And definitely get protein after your workout. You can train fasted (water with electrolytes or salt will be helpful though) if you work out in the morning but you absolutely must eat carbs and protein after your workout. You don't have to be eating 1g protein per lb per day like gym bros online tell you to though. It doesn't matter that much.Im thinking about it, fat is mainly my goal but ofc i dont wanna lose muscle my smv would basically not change if that happened after leaning
