Crispr/Cas9 is essentially the insertion and deletion of desired genes in the human body. In other words, you are modifying the gene sequence for more favorable traits. Its currently being used for agriculture & severe diseases, with there being serious limitations because of its potential consequences (potential consequences just meaning people exploiting it)
Once this becomes accessible to the public in the next 10-15 years, and the effects start showing 20 years later, your children are going to suffer through the worst era of hypergamy in the history of our planet. All the upper class and elites are going to be immune to certain diseases, simultaneously taking on the best genes. This will only exacerbate the quality of life disparity between the top 1% and the other 99%. All women are going to want to chase these elite genes shown in the top percentile of males. Quite literally a horror story, and another fine example of the rich getting richer. Its in your hands to ultimately save your kid.
