Online shop worth to try?

I am thinking of importing some electronic stuff from alibaba, and starting a online shop. I would just advertise with google ad words and maybe facebook/instagram ads.
Anybody here does something like this? What should i keep an eye on? Could this be profitable enough? How are my chances to compete against big online shops?

Why not, give it a try! I have also wanted to start similar thing (i wanted to start dropshiping), but you need to sell high ticket products if you want to make a decent living and succeed, and i have pretty much 0 starting investment lol.
