So im recessed and started mewing 1,5 yrs ago and i saw good progress with mby 2mm bone movement, but want to take it a step further and get Bimax, bimax obviously enhances the lower part of midface and mandible, but not the upper part of midface (infraorbital/cheekbone). So i was wondering, after bimax if i remove the titanium plates, will i get more forward growth if i keep mewing 24/7 for years?
I know that in people with naturally projected maxilla, they dont really get more forward growth cuz they r at the max, but does that apply for surgically projecting the maxilla aswell? Also if thats the case, can it project the infraorbital area, even if the lefort 1 region cant be projected more cuz its forward now? Or is it that for the infraorbital area to move forward the lefort 1 region has to too?
Im asking this cuz im gonna infraorbital implants too that are attached to bone, so if i would get more enhanced in that area by mewing, the implant will start to look overprojected.
My bad for making this sound confusing and formulating it weird, but if anyone understands my question plsss leave a comment, i rly want help.
