Is it as effective or better than thugmaxxing?

This guy is currently a surgeon, and went to Dartmouth (An Ivy League).

Dude is like PSL 4-4.5, but everyone in the comments is going crazy thirsty for him like he's tyrone?
FinalBlackcel

Is careermaxxing legit for blacks since society thinks blacks with good careers are attractive? Do you think people would have been as thirsty for him if he thugmaxxed?

Also does software engineering raise your PSL compared to a doctor or a lawyer? Even though software engineers can make the same amount I've heard it doesn't have the same presige as those professions, and a lot of software engineers are ugly rices and currys.

Anything to do with STEM. Employers are trying hard to hire blacks and women.

And the reason he gets views is that it's so rare for blacks to do those jobs, so you can do the same thing.

True, but you need like 12 years of schooling plus you end up a shit ton of debt. That being said all engineering except Computer Science is trash.

It is a lot of time and debt, but completely worth it imo. When he's debt free... at say 36 if he's very aggressive with payments. Then he's set.

I don't think you are correct about engineering being trash besides CS.... keep in mind all the envied CS jobs are in VERY high COL areas. So compared to engineering, it's not a wash, but it's not nearly as drastic as some people think.

A good amount of those results, even at FAANG, although good paying, are not much better than standard engineering jobs when taking COL into account. And if you aren't FAANG, good luck boyo. You'll still do well though. But it's ridiculous to take the top "dream jobs" of software engineers in very high COL areas and compare it to standard engineering like that.

also even at FAANG most 'engineers' dont do any exciting or stimulating engineering, its largely just mundane turn wheel type crap. so it's a stress free life, decent pay, but FAANG has become so big now working there as an engineer is a bit like working for quasi - government roles years ago, like Dupont, GM, GE type shit

I agree with that statement. But engineers can make well over that with less years experience as the 350k figure in tech (which again, most of those figures are at FAANG, aka the "dream"/reach jobs).

Definitely go for your dream job, but you are uninformed regarding jobs outside of tech.

True, but if you care that much you can work at a prestigious startup and transfer to FAANG for the easy life.

Most engineer majors (mechanical, civil, aerospace, chemical) won't hit that mark unless you go for petroleum engineering at UT

I'm literally in industry and get hit up about jobs often, and you are dead wrong. And petroleum is probably one of the worst things you can get into right now, and has massive boom/bust cycles. You are taking the absolute long shot jobs in tech, and comparing them incorrectly to standard jobs in engineering.

Do you have a PhD or something? Even comparing starting salaries CS trumps all other engineering majors

You really shouldn't decide your career based off of how it can boost your looks on its own. Get a good job that pays well, then use that money to ascend if you still feel like looksmaxing

Bachelors. So CM places really well in tech given their top employers, as well as in high COL areas because that's where those tech jobs are. So you can't make a direct comparison like that. And my other friends in engineering corroborate what I'm trying to say.

I'm not ragging on tech man, it's a great career.

Location wise though most engineers still end up in pretty expensive cities. Maybe not to the same degree as CS, but still pretty expensive cities. I don't think engineering is a bad major but rarely do I see engineers without PhD surpassing the 200k, even if they are in the best companies for their field (Boeing / NASA for aerospace, etc). Meanwhile 200k is common for most senior+ software developers, even if your not in FAANG, albeit most of them do live in these expensive cities.

CS, engineering, STEM and all that shit is kinda BS. You'll never make money. Only way you make money in CS is if you're a true talent. But ofc, don't get me wrong, it's still the best we have.

But if I could choose my career over again, I'd go to med school for sure. It's one of the easiest jobs on earth and you make a shit ton of money.

In CS you actually need a brain and it's quantitively demanding and exhausting. The problem solving is insane. One guy (if he has the IQ), can literally outperform an entire team. IQ is everything in this field.

If you're a doctor on the other hand. You literally just say the same BS everytime. The job is low performance. Easy on the brain / problem solving part. Doesn't require high IQ. Your performance doesn't really matter either, you just sit and do fuck all the entire day. Someone comes in with a mild problem, you say your lines, do a quick google search, tell him x, y ,z (which you tell everyone). Someone comes in with a severe / serious problem you then just forward him to a specialist. Doesn't get much easier than that.

It really depends of your school. Especially if you live in the US and are a citizen. There are entry level jobs at the DOD that pay in the 100ks, and if you were in a good school you are basically guaranteed

Black women have a notoriously bad name, for trying to scam a betabuxx man. And divorce rape him (financailly speaking, and children also often) into ruin.

BetaBuxxing is sad.

BetaBuxxing as black man, reminds me of ending up like this women her husband

Careermaxxing does help as a black man in American tbh. There are very few careermaxxed black men in America compared to careermaxxed black women so by sheer numbers alone a career maxxed black dude is in high demand. High class women of other races are also more likely to date a black dude with a good career. I’ve run a tinder experiment of a black dude with two profiles - one profile had his career as doctor and the other profile he had a regular job. The black doctor profile had 3 times more matches and messages than the same dude with a generic job. He was almost invisible with his regular job profile. This is the dude I used - I wish I made a thread about it when I did it.
