Opinions on trifarotene?

I just called my dermatologist to try and get tazarotene as tretinoin has kind of plateued my skin progression. I wasn't able to request taz but they sent me a perscription for trifarotene, and just looking it up for a few minutes it seems like its a better alternative to both tret and taz. What do you guys think?

theyre both very similar. no big differences. the irritation thing was from a study where they used patches on healthy skin though. so it might be different in real use (not as irritating). overall its pretty good though imo
