I'm hearing mixed answers abt the optimal amount of reps at the gym.
I usually do 3 sets of 8-10 reps but now im hearing that 2 sets of 8 reps is optimal?

do you realize that in studies they make people do different things and then compare between the out comes ? So there is actually a practice going on
