I saw a video ob riktok saying that as long as you consume around 0.5g/kg you will build muscle and that more protein dosent do much. I did some further research and found studies saying the same. Although information on this is hard to come by with all the ”bro science” in the gym community. Can anyone enlighten me?

it depends, if you workout a lot it’s better to take 2/2.2g per kg, if you are just a casual lifter around 1.5/1.7g per kg (don’t abuse protein or it could fuck your kidneys)
