L-Glutathione is an antioxidant which technically lightens the skin by inhibiting tyrosinase, the key enzyme responsible for the production of melanin. I tried 500mg/daily of L-glutathione for 1 month and my skin didn't get any lighter, though. Does anyone have any experience using oral glutathione alone to lighten the skin? Maybe it takes 1g/day or even 2g/day to get any solid results.
Btw I know that Glutathione IV is basically guaranteed to lighten your skin, but usually you'd have to go to a clinic to get IV L-glutathione injections. If you try to do it alone it can be a bit dangerous and I have no idea how I'd get my hands on IV glutathione vials.
