and how do u even become one?

Average IQ of this forum is too low for med school. Typical user cant even properly make research, people are asking same shit over and over again they have poor intellectual capacity

Medical school does not require an IQ. It consists entirely of verbal and memorization skills, but in my country, we take exams that require a high IQ to get into medical school.

I use the search function a lot to learn and I've also noticed the majority of the best posts and discussions come from the 2023 era. The difference in post quality is striking. I’m guessing it’s partly because people now just talk to AI instead for their deep discussions, and also because the average user age has dropped significantly.

Now pretty much everyone is just told to get "ccw bimax with infras" no matter what

The nuggets left to be found are mainly just case reports back from the top surgeons that crop up now and again

then go get a doctorate instead of rotting here. there are tests such as the sat and act that loosely correlate to iq, having it measures somehow doesnt seem to far out, although nowadays academic ahievement, extracurriculars, volunteering, and contributions to society are probably weighed more heavily than any standardized test

You're not wrong, but one clear downside of this kind of intelligence is academic disengagement, especially in countries like the one I'm from, where the school system isn't at all suited to this type of profile. It can lead to dropping out of school. That said, it's not an excuse, and that's why I've now decided to go back to school and try to capitalize on my intelligence. It's still a real challenge though, especially since I'm not disciplined at all — mainly because I never had to work to succeed during the first 18 years of my life.

I can see that. Im nowhere near your IQ level but I always cruised through school based on what was taught in class. Never studied and would frequently miss homework but was still considered gifted. Discipline is fucking hard to build but it’s necessary for success. I still rely on prescription drugs, nicotine and caffeine to function at optimal levels but achieving a high paying career to ascend through LL, compounds, and other surgeries. Intelligence+discipline mogs all.
