It was just brute force memorizing, although I only did it until highschool level maybe in uni it's more difficult

Not really I didn't have to memorize anything.

It was like a bigger version of this and then also what to react with each thing to covert it, and then flow charts for testing for each thing

I never said it wasn't, I'm saying the subject is heavily based on memorizing and therefore isn't hard (in my experince during highschool)

True, you have to meamorize a lot but that will only get you throught 1/3 of the answers on the test.

For the rest you need to fully understand and apply it, its designed that way

Yes so memorize and then watch a 10 minute video on youtube on how it works and then apply the memorized theory/thing
