ortho question

Hi gonna go to the ortho soon but wanted to come on hear and ask what people thought.
16yo almost 17 male done growing most likely
have a pretty severe overbite and narrow palate i am sub human levels of recessed but make it up with other halos. I rejected braces at 13 because i thought they would look ugly and i didn’t know an overbite would affect jaw and allat. Is there any ortho treatments that would work or just leffort lemme know.
