Ortho says i will most likely get double jaw surgery when im done growing

Im at endpart through prime puberty and I got a ortho appointment last month about braces. The ortho said that braces wouldnt fix my bones because im considered a bit old in ortho terms and that it would only make my teeth straight, not fix the problems. Both My top first molars are crowded inward because my maxilla is recessed. He said that im most likely to get double jaw surgery when im done growing. He was saying shit like class 3 severe when he was calling it out and said my mandible was growing more than my maxilla. Pissed off i didnt ask about expanders and that but should i go for the surgery?

I havent gotten scans yet he said they would bring me in sometime like next year, 15
