orthodonic aligners

so my first lateral incisor and the second one goes into front like sticking out and it gives me an overbite look because of the teeth pushing my upper lip forwards although i have a small one but i recently ordered orthodonic alligners with extra attachments and silicone thing the elastics to move my maxilla i suppose. The orthodonist said it will not ruin my face just fix my over bite am i safe or not. ???

Could go both ways i mean its never 100% sure theyre gonna fix it perfectly i mean ive senn orthodonists make peoples teeth perfect but lets say they move your maxilla and it can be even worse than before

So you think this forum is smarter than said orthodontist who has a nonzero chance of messing up?

I had the same problem so when u use elastics to fix an overbite maxilla stays the same but the lower third is getting more projection to balance the overbite, if thats what you mean
