Depends on the braces, they can do both. If u got elastics that are pulling ur jaw back. Or ur maxilla back then ur cooked. Just tell the ortho that u want good looks aswell.

But i cant really know unless u tell/show me how it looks

I don’t have rubber bands I just have normal braces for straightening the teeth no chain braces just normal braces

idk just paranoid but thank you cuz I always hear braces and maxilla recession
