Bone is easier to recess than advance, inside forces are harder to apply than outside

if ur boens are completely cemented after puberty it probably wont pull your maxilla back too much but no point in risking it. just get jaw surgery instead and have bone placed

I’m 20 years old now haven’t grown in over a year. Only have overjet in one side causing lip visible asymmetry. Overbite isn’t that severe which I’m willing to correct in future with bimax when I have funds

True but I have crooked teeth in lower jaw (orthodontist said lower jaw is recessed didn’t mention maxilla) I need that fixed asap

You fix that with jaw surgery, BSSO or Bimax.
