orthodontic treatments = forward growth?

Do ortho treatments like Damon braces, palate expanders etc help with forward growth of jaw and maxilla or only width?
Ik some ppl with braces, expanders and stuff and I’ve seen their faces get wider but haven’t noticed much difference in forward growth.

Right okayy, so how is forward growth actually attainable? Roids? Hard chewing? Mewing? There’s so much stuff out there that claims it gives forward growth

Expansion can cause transverse growth however is slightly downward I’ve heard
