Orthodontic work, symmetry, projection and looks- questions.

went to an appointment with a dentist and she redirected me to an orthodont.
i have an overbite, my palate width is good but my tongue doesnt fit without touching the corners of my teeth therefore i want palate expander.
my bite is asymmetric (which affects my gonions and chin).
will aligning my bite through braces, give me more chin projection and more symmetric gonions and chin?
