I have an overjet, not sure which case, where my upper teeth cover my lower teeth completely when I clench my jaw.
it gives me a recessed chin and mandible look. when I jut, I look alot better due to a more prominent jaw and chin projection.
I was wondering which orthodontics would be best for me since as far as I've checked, braces do not help with overbites and my parents don't really listen to me when i ask them for appliances like the herbst or marpe or ones that would help my situation.
I'm at a loss at the moment on whether I should ask my parents again but my parents tell me that having straight teeth is unnatural and the natural way for our teeth to be is in the over bite position.
although I know he is wrong, I didn't really say anything.
I'm hoping I could ask him soon for a chance to maximise my projection and mandibular development with the orthodontics any of you guys recommend me.
so far I've considered damon braces + herbst appliance
