I got braces at 12 and have bonded retainers is it possible for my bone structure to change?

But wouldn't it prevent my palate from widening?
Not particularly, the palate has typically stopped widening by 12 years old and bonded retainers dont tend to affect the rest of the skeletal structure of your face. If you are worried or think your palate isnt wide enough go speak to an ortho
