Was at the hair specialist today for an appointment he had to leave briefly to perform an abscess drain on infected tissue.

he didn’t say much but I overheard him with other staff apparently he went overseas to a third world country to get a hair transplant and they fucked up the grafts or at least the handling of them, they became infected and risked the rest of the tissue around the scalp.

Fucking over for people who say “Muh just get a hair transplant for 2k at Thailand” or some shit

That's because people are so retarded and try to penny-pinch on a very important procedure. I'm not advocating for hair transplants 100% because a LOT of them are underwhelming, but if you're going to a cheap clinic where the doctor himself isn't implanting & extracting the grafts, just kill yourself.

I had a HT in a Hungarian clinic 3 weeks ago. 1500 grafts in the temples and mid-scalp for 2000 euros. Everything went smooth, no infection, scabs already fell off, newly transplanted hair started growing although I expect shedding soon. I still consult with the doctor who performed the surgery via e-mail, I send her photos of my scalp. Obviously I won't see the full result until at least 6 months, but so far it looks like it was a good investment especially for that price.

Probably not a surgeon, just a hair transplant specialist. The doctor who did my hair transplant is too young to be qualified as a surgeon. Nevertheless regarding the surgical technique she seemed skillful and precise. I felt a moderate pain when the local anaesthesia was administered, but otherwise I can't complain. But yes it is cheap for western standards so I would recommend that clinic for westerncels.

You shouldn't go cheap on your surgeries, I don't know why people keep advocating for cheap surgeries. It's your face, in this instance, your scalp, we’re talking about here.

He was thinking about adding JAK-2 inhibitors to my protocol as it’s expiremental but has shown promising results in non male pattern baldness alopecia.

I'm on a JAK-1 inhibitor and it is helping my hairloss. I don't know why JAK-2 would be any better then 1 or 3, and it's more dangerous from what I've heard
