I wonder if everyone who goes to Ramieri has to deal with braces for months on end before going there, I will put on braces just in case

Not everyone has the possibility to be a surgery-first case and even if you are it’s probably not a good idea.

Me too, braces are part of the punishment
Well I'll have to put them on I guess, the only bimax surgeon in my country didn't want to move my maxilla at all even though users here told me it should be forwarded 5mm so the only solution is to go to Ramieri

Keep in mind mowing ur maxilla forward will give you chimp lips

how long will your decomp. phase be

I’m about 7 months in and I am expecting it to last 12 months or so.
I hope to have my surgeries early 2026.

Would this be an issue if you have no occlusion og orthodontic issues? I had braces 3 years ago and my bite is fine but facially I am pretty poor develped

If you had braces before you don't need them

i’ve been hearing of more botches lately and him not behaving professionally but you may not have to worry since you’re just getting infras.. those are pretty hard to fuck up

with "infra implants" u mean under the eyes (zygos) and upper (browridge), right? Does Ramieri do that or only Pagnoni?
Ramieri does malar implants but no brow implant if ik right

U're right. But brow implants are really worth the risk/price/external scarring? If I have some UUE can I camouflage it with fat grafting? Like @WrathOfOlives did

Idk man i only can give advice in the jaw area

I consulted with Ramieri 3 years ago and back then he told me he's done about 30-ish jaw implants in his career. I also saw the results of someone here Gaia or something and I personally felt like his results (respectfully) were underwhelming in terms of frontal view.

But now I've been seeing Ramieri doing a new approach with his jaw implants and the results look much better

Are you referring to his IMPLATE technique?

I saw a recent podcast featuring Ramieri and he actually seems like a really nice guy, and takes his surgery as if it’s art and is always trying to improve every procedure he does.

He also has more minimally invasive orthognathic surgical methods, hence why many of his patients recover a lot quicker than other surgeons patients.
