What is a split geniomy bimax + split genio with him is costing 30k euros total. (Im getting it this coming may( No implants. It was 27k without the split genio.
split down the middle for widthWhat is a split genio
Would it cost less if you didn't do the split down the middle? Just normal genioplasty?split down the middle for width
Make sure you work with an Ortho before, I need a revision now. (I went to Pags)my bimax + split genio with him is costing 30k euros total. (Im getting it this coming may( No implants. It was 27k without the split genio.
Thanks man! Really appreciate it. Measured it and looks like your bimax included widening of the gonions right?my bimax + split genio with him is costing 30k euros total. (Im getting it this coming may( No implants. It was 27k without the split genio.
Revision is as in? What were the problems? Too much movement or something else?Make sure you work with an Ortho before, I need a revision now. (I went to Pags)
More squarish (wider) chin i think, i didn't see any result from it yetWould it cost less if you didn't do the split down the middle? Just normal genioplasty?
28k+8k (trimax + 4k each)Anyone aware of Pagnoni prices? Specifically bimax (+ widening), genio and infra’s. DM would be appreciated!
The same that Liam posted?More squarish (wider) chin i think, i didn't see any result from it yet
Hmmm, 4k each sounds like a really good deal. Read somewhere that it was like 13-16k, but considering its one surgery (right?) it seems fair.28k+8k (trimax + 4k each)
It was 16k for both supras and infrasHmmm, 4k each sounds like a really good deal. Read somewhere that it was like 13-16k, but considering its one surgery (right?) it seems fair.
Seems like the general concensus is roughly 28-30k for trimax.
Yes but i still need to see the results, since soft tissue reacts differently after all, liam one isn't making the chin wider if you look closely, just makes it look squarish. The same that Liam posted?

I still have yet to see more results to make my mind on it since you are spliting the chin in half, you'll have to take into consideration the muscles.Post op looked straight up like a handsome squidward![]()
I mean shouldn’t be a problem right? Like how does differ for implants. That also stretches the muscle and soft tissue. Only this is your own bone.I still have yet to see more results to make my mind on it since you are spliting the chin in half, you'll have to take into consideration the muscles.
If you consider reattaching the muscles again, it will be much harder, implants are kinda easier in comparation to a split genio.I mean shouldn’t be a problem right? Like how does differ for implants. That also stretches the muscle and soft tissue. Only this is your own bone.
From what I have read, bone grows between the space, so it shouldn’t be a problem at all
Hmmm will read more into this, thanks again for the response. If you consider reattaching the muscles again, it will be much harder, implants are kinda easier in comparation to a split genio.
I remembered it looking comically square like Sponge's Bob Chad Squid meme in post opI still have yet to see more results to make my mind on it since you are spliting the chin in half, you'll have to take into consideration the muscles.
Yeah that's what was my conclusion when i thought about it, that's why i need to see 3 or 4 results to take my conclusion.I remembered it looking comically square like Sponge's Bob Chad Squid meme in post op
Didn't know how it goes after swelling but for sure you'll get that deep fossea look

Isn’t swelling like ass? Even the first year. Like 10% of swelling still remains 1 year post op (read somewhere in a study). No way anything pre 6 months post-op is indicative of the final results.Yeah that's what was my conclusion when i thought about it, that's why i need to see 3 or 4 results to take my conclusion.
wait can i dm u about ur surgery with pagnoni?Make sure you work with an Ortho before, I need a revision now. (I went to Pags)
no genioplasty will make a chin look uncanny. Its virtually impossible due to the limited amount of MM you can advance the chin. A 4mm split genioplasty gives me 4mm of extra chin width. Not much, but enough to make a small difference.I remembered it looking comically square like Sponge's Bob Chad Squid meme in post op

think about breaking a bone in your leg, arm, or anywhere else. The muscles adapt.I still have yet to see more results to make my mind on it since you are spliting the chin in half, you'll have to take into consideration the muscles.
Yes, it would cost 27k euros. This is also with custom plates. Some surgeons, probably pag too, still offer non custom plates for a much cheaper price. I know with ramieri it was around 16k without custom guides.Would it cost less if you didn't do the split down the middle? Just normal genioplasty?
Yahwait can i dm u about ur surgery with pagnoni?
For the chin it's much harder when you split it in 2, muscle missplacement would be more common i suppose.think about breaking a bone in your leg, arm, or anywhere else. The muscles adapt.
mario pagnoni right?Anyone aware of Pagnoni prices? Specifically bimax (+ widening), genio and infra’s. DM would be appreciated!
Who else lolmario pagnoni right?
Genuinely asking tho, do you even need chin muscles? For the chin it's much harder when you split it in 2, muscle missplacement would be more common i suppose.
Yes, it is pretty important for functional side.Genuinely asking tho, do you even need chin muscles?
Like what though? What genuine function does it serve. Too lazy to look it up but I can’t imagine missing your chin muscles lol.Yes, it is pretty important for functional side.

You mean the skin below the chin will sag? Just artifically tighten or remove fat. I genuinely don’t comprehend how chin muscles can be important. Or maybe I am just stupid.
Really? Was it that much lower last year? Guess that’s just supply and demand lol. When you are the “best” you can charge whatever you want lol. Esp if ppl keep comingDamn these are brutal price rises, was 28k for Trimax and infras last year now it’s 28k just a bimax?
I got quoted 25 for jaw angle and infraDamn these are brutal price rises, was 28k for Trimax and infras last year now it’s 28k just a bimax?

That’s not how it works right? I am fairly sure quoted price = actual price when you lock it in. That’s how contracts work. It’s really bad though when what you are quoted when you start ortho and what you actually pay in the end are so vastly different. I may have to switch surgeons as he is rising prices faster than I can make money at this point and by the time my braces are done it could be 50k for just trimax.

Also, I think the increase was due to rampant inflation the last 5 years. Now it has stabilized. Rather than increasing 2% every year he prob increases significantly every couple years.
Idk tho
Why would he not honor the quoted price lol. That is literally how quotes work. Maybe I am confused, but in any other industry quoted price = actual price + any unexpected costs. Not a 8k upcharge lmao. Maybe he gave you a good deal, just don’t parade with it.I didn’t pay anything at the time so there’s no contract at all. He just told me to go get orthodontic decompensation and that at the end of that I would make the payment before the in-depth surgical planning. I would be incredibly surprised if he honors the original quoted price.
I don’t think it’s inflation based so much as just extreme popularity, both as an individual surgeon and an exponential increase of looksmaxing in general.
