palate expander and braces

I’ve always been insecure of my teeth. Do i get regular braces to close the gap of my teeth and also should I get a palate expander. I’m 16 and I’ve already had braces for underbite at 8-9 years old.

Get the palate expander, it looks like there's not enough spacing in your palate for the teeth so I think the dentist should naturally bring up the fact that you should get a palate expander, if not ask for it yourself.
