Palate expander at 16

At january 26 i'll be getting a palate expander at my ortho because i wanted to ''breathe'' better. It will widen my maxilla and help me ascend a little, but i wanted to ask if anyone here got it to looksmax and your experience with it and how it changed your face, i also want to know if it helps with anything else looks-wise other than widening the face. I'm also gonna pair it with reverse pull headgear, even tho i don't expect much change at all since i'm almost 16

Yes, it can increase your fwhr and also your bizygo width, but it can also cause assymetry since your bigonial width is not affected by it

Can it cause eyes being close set? Since face is getting wider?

If the bizygo becomes too large, it can affect esr yes

Im getting reviewed for my palate expander in January im 16 and a half how did u convince them do get a reverse pull headgear too?

Basically i said that when i bite down my jaw feels a bit of pressure and that when i'm relaxed my jaw is in a more forward position naturally, basically that i feel like my maxilla is recessed and i'd like it to be more forward. But i think it was succesful since my dad went there and asked for it instead of me, i think they took it more seriously that way.
