palate expander chance?

one of my canine teeth is a bit infront of the rest of the teeth, got it checked at the dentist and they said it should be fine but theyll check on it later. think its in a year or so, do i have a chance of getting palate expander?

you would have to bring yourself into a proper bite after expanding
