Palate expander plus Marpe headgear at 16?

Just asked my mom about my next dental appointment to ask about solutions for my maxilla, she said that my orthodontist has been trying to get me a palate expander since I was around 12. I’m 16 now, and i had a tongue tie until 13 so I wasn’t able to put enough pressure on my palate so now I have a narrow palate and a recessed maxilla. Could a palate expander and headgear fix my maxilla at 16 and 1 month?
