Palate Expander

This is my first post on here so if I do anything thing wrong sorry in advanced. I have a somewhat narrow maxilla and aswell as slightly recessed. Do Palate expanders help with ether of these problems? If so do I go to and orthodontist or order online. I’m still in puberty so should I wait to do this to see if anything changes or go do it now. If you need pictures I will dm kinda scared to post my face on here, lol.

Yes, depending on how many millimetres your orthodentist says you should get, you'll go from a narrow palate to a average/wide palate. As for your maxilla, I've heard cases where sometimes your maxilla will become more projected but since your probably going to have to get braces afterwards, it'll just bring your maxilla back to its starting point or worse, recess it further.

Pallete expanders do nothing other than help people with narrow pallete syndrome
