A common problem for curries is paranasal hollowing, makes you look ugly as fuck ngl. Are fillers capable of producing good results when injected into the paranasal region ? how much ml's of filler do you thing would be required at minimum to achieve the same results of paranasal implants? has anyone had paranasal implants, if so, was it worth the price ?

Bone>Implants>Fillers

You can improve paranasal hollowing with osteotomies

however isn't infection the main problem with implants, if fillers can achieve the same effect, wouldn't it be the safer, better option ?

Infection rate with a skilled surgeon is less than 2%.

I have seen several custom midface implants done and they all looked quite good. Fillers may work,, but it will depend on how much augmentation is needed.

2% lifetime or post surgery?

yea can you explain ?
Because thats the only place (beside lower jaw) that is depended on both teeth and jaw bone. You want them to be in sync for it to look good natural (unlike cheek and jaw angle for example)

Paranasal implants seem very interesting

An alternative to bimax

honestly you're best off describing what the middle third of your face looks like in its entirety, paranasal hollowing is incredibly complex and you can have it even w/o any recession. And then there's cases who are legit pancake bricked to fuck with zero paranasal hollows.

Ideal solution will vary on the case.

Generally though i'd advise a small face lift in every case of hollowing. Also some way to expand the front of the zygomatic arch (cheekbone) this will act to pull up/support the midfacial tissue. If your mouth region/jaws are recessive then bimax on top.

If all of this fails then opt for implant. Paranasal/naso filler should be used in very small amounts/minor cases

Can paranasal implant Make the nose look more forward and less downward?

Images 8

Yes. They project the nasal base which pushes nose upward and forward
However, since they also make the lower cheeks full they do reduce cheekbone hollowness/definition. They especially reduce the contours around the bottom region of the cheekbones (which is main contributor to chiseledness and angularity).

I am actually having mine removed because the additional paranasal projection isn't worth the loss in cheekbone definition
