New MoneySuperMarket research reveals the hefty costs of raising a child and how much more parents will pay for their daughter than their son.
The total figures come to £79,176 to raise a boy and £108,884 for a girl, a difference of £29,708. To put that in perspective, a full-price university degree costs £27,750, and a dog costs only £18,700.

Came across this research.Parents spend 38% (!!!) more money on their female children on average than their male children untill the age of 18. After the age of 18, my bet is that this trend continues, but it's not in this research.
Most if it is in clothing, beauty products/services and accesories but also more money is spent activities outside of school.
JFL at this shit honestly. A difference of 30.000 dollars that is spent more on women compared to guys in the average household. All of our surgeries and more could be paid for with this shit.
Reminder that it's better to be born female than male. JFL @ copers here saying how good it is to be male. Not even your own parents love you and would've rather spent their money on girls.
