My healthcare provider enabled me to meet their dietitian to discuss about dietary concerns as they believe that I exhibit symptoms of disordered eating.
I actually somewhat looked forward to that appointment because I thought we'd have a good conversation and discuss details that other non-specialized healthcare professionals often dismiss.
I was wrong, she kept ignoring me when I tried to bring up more technical terms that her usual patients never seemingly do.
She had to Google what "histamine liberator means" and didn't even know how the amino acids compete for access through the blood-brain barrier.
I literally could've DMed some Ray Peat forum rotter like @BrahminBoss for a better discussion and that nigga doesn't even get paid to read the literature

^She literally got paid to tell this to me by insurance while she acted like taking notes and thinking hard
