They can tighten the soft tissue which can give a temporary lift but once the threads are absorbed, the tissue remodels to its first position. Palpebral length is structurally limited by orbital bones and canthal ligaments which cant be altered unless with surgeries

Polydioxanone is usually absorbed in about 3 months, the mild lifting effect may persist for 6 months depending on tissue response
