People say that social media is not a reflection of real life.
It's all fiction and that if someone feels good about themselves they shouldn't "appear" on social media.

I agree with this, you know the feeling of liberation and zero anxiety you feel when you don't use them?
It means that your body is giving you a signal that it's better this way.

That said, in our unconscious mind, we are still giving more value to those people with more "status".

It is clear if we are at a party of 10 people and there are 4 women 6 men and 1 man of them has 3k followers on social media, while the others have less than 500, and he shows that he has a happy lifestyle, full of interests, women automatically associate this with status.

It doesn't really matter what you do.. You can also take pictures of trees, but if you have 3 thousand followers and you have some photos with girls with you, as well as trees, then you are over and you don't have to prove anything.

There may be more handsome guys in the room but it will be like this.
You will tell me that people who cling to others because they have a higher status are "damaged", but that may be true in many cases, but not in all.

Women can't love, we know it. But they only love something if they feel respect, admiration, and if that thing is requested.

People on social media only show you the side they want you to see. I have a friend who from his social media pics looks happy, normal and well adjusted but irl he is complete lunatic and has been admitted to the ward multiple times

That's the issue i found with social media, people take the things they see there at face value, they don't expect some randoms to be lying about everything in their life, but in reality almost everyone is fake on the internet, because why wouldn't you be? It has no downsides, only the upside that people percieve you in a light that makes you seem like a good and better person.

Let's say it's a placebo effect... it's really like taking a pill from a medicine box, with a name like "Prozac," and seeing that you feel better. But in reality, that pill was just placebo sugar.

Social media is like that... People are willing to downplay your negative aspects and cling to that "good" and "positive" image you've established.

I'll also add one more thing:
If someone is truly interested in you, they won't care how many followers you have or who you are on social media. So far, so good. But if this sane person thinks like this, do you really think they'd use social media or a dating app to meet other people if they no longer had IRL options?
For example, they might be too old to date and all their friends are in a relationship or married, or let's say they moved to a new city and have no acquaintances.
What would this specific person use in this case?

Just delete it. In general deleting all social media will be very good for your psyche. There are tons of women that don't actually care about social media- yes, its true.

Social media is luciferian

Don't daily use them, but have them to show what you do in life it's crucial.
For example, I only post 10 images once a year, and use it once a month, or if anyone writes me there, I will only use the chat
