Its not nearly as economically needed though, its normal to have immigration to a degree and I agree with that but britain at the peak of its empire was 99 percent white british and didnt import all of their empire inside their country, and even china does not do this while it grows significantly

immigration is economically needed,immigrants do the jobs that the people don’t want to do,having more people of working age would boost the economy.Yes britain at the peak of its empire was 99% white but the living quality during this peak was absolutely terrible as seen for the boer wars.I think it was like 1 of 4 men were malnourished and not of standards to be enlisted,which caused a huge change as britains empire was booming but not britain itself.Yes they did import material to britain and created product for it for huge profit and that also caused economic gain.Overall Britain actually imported their people across their empire due to necessity and it was just more profitable moving people from like India to Kenya for them to develop those other countries .China does not do this due to its huge natural increase in population.China already has an insanely large population so it does not need migration,it has enough people that want to do the jobs no one else wants to do,infact china has so many people there sending them to places like Africa to develop it.

The only time Britain deviated from being 99 percent white british was around the 90s when it was 94 percent white british, their poverty at the time was also not solved via immigration and it improved on its own, also the poverty you are4 talking about was mainly caused by urbanization and the mass influx of people migrating to urban centers and stagnating wages and extreme overcrowding, this is not the own you think it is, it improved on its own via wage increases, falling prices and then shifting majority of people to more higher paid jobs via factory work, mining and etc as opposed to the agricultural sector, alongside the government by the time of the 1900s establishing basic safety nets and improving it, this is incredibly false and a very shitty misreading of the situation, importing immigrants in this situation would of literally worsened them off as they were already suffering from mass migrations of rural peoples into the urban areas and struggled to deal with the fast change
