Seeing more people talk about "peptide pouches" like this jester
It won't work like it does with nicotine at all, here's why
nicotine is the perfect molecule for buccal absorption
it's a very small molecule that is lipophilic enough to cross membranes, meaning they're fat soluble and the membrane is mostly made out of fatty/oily barriers so it is basically needed to get absorbed, nicotine also stays stable in saliva and is highly potent.
Nicotine passes through oral mucosa via passive diffusion
most nicotine pouches are alkalanized(=higher pH) aswell, making the nicotine become more unionized= makes it cross lipid membranes easier
So nicotine pouches are chemically optimized with a molecule that already wants to cross membranes and that's how they directly enter your bloodstream
Peptides basically aren't like nicotine at all
Peptides such as gluthatione or NAD are at least 2/3x bigger than nicotine molecules causing them to get blocked from the oral mucosa (without enhancers)
Most peptides are way above nicotine in size and complexity.
Now as i've said already, membranes are lipid(fat) based
peptides are hydrophilic or in other words "water-loving" and peps are not lipid-soluble
So peptides simply don't want to cross the fat barriers, nicotine does
Your saliva partially degrades peptides before absorption even becomes a question, this is because our saliva contains enzymes like proteases and peptidases
Alkalanization won't fix or help peptide absorption because of the reasons i just mentioned
