looking for one without prostalgandin bc that shit will mutilate your fat pads

have heard about good results for eyebrow thickening with peptide serums like The Ordinary but that’s all anecdotal, and less results about eyelash length so it might be that they can thicken significantly but struggle to increase hair length? could still be useful if this is the case

anyone high iq know about the science behind them and if they work?

also if you know any better alternatives tell me fs

anything that contains peptides is going to help, so the ordinary serum would be good

you can try minoxidl too, but don't apply it directly on your lashes as they are too sensitive, apply it on your eyebrows instead

also be careful with castor oil as it works through prostaglandins

do you know if rosemary/argan oil and other ones like that work differently? or are they prostalgandin too

absolutely brutal if they do

yh thyroid makes sense for hair growth. dyk how to increase it other than just taking it directly?

also what does progesterone do? never heard of it

not a single atom

read like 2.5 words total but is it saying that argan oil works bc of increased collagen synthesis?

rosemary works by increasing blood flow, so it's fine

and i don't think argan oil works for hair growth

someone else in this thread linked a study related to argan oil increasing collagen synthesis which defo affects hair growth but it’s probably not enough to be noticeable tbh

Don't try it will give you dark circle and eyebags for eyebrows

Just mix castor oil + peppermint oil + rosemary oil

prostaglandins and prostalgandin analogues are what give dark circles, not peptide serums which is what i’m gonna use

castor oil works through prostaglandin which sucks but yh peppermint and rosemary oil are good
