One trend I've recently seen blowing up is digital nomads bypassing traditional apartment rentals, subletts, and even Airbnb and they are moving into hotels permanently.

I know a few people like they permanently live in hotel chains. Like park Hyatt or Marriott or something like that. You can also negotiate a yearly or monthly deals if you are planning to be permanent resident. It ironically is cheaper for many rich people because they get easy airport access, no staff management, no cooking, no maintainance, premium concierge service, housing/laundry/security all taken care of. Also very flexible.

Howard Hughes popularized this. He lived in a 5 star hotel for 30 years

Sometimes I forget that companies also have people behind it, and that those people are willing to make you a deal if you pay them nicely

Money is so wonderful

What does the price range look like for a typical room in an upper class hotel?

If I was rich the last place I'd wanna live is a soulless luxury hotel room

That depends on location. $200 a night can get you a beach side villa in Bali but only a small hotel in NYC

Seem chill but my mom would wanna beat my ahh for even suggesting such an idea. Sheโ€™d rather own a tiny hut than rent a fancy condo, let alone live in a hotel jfl

You gotta be super rich for that and you donโ€™t have as much privacy and space for yourself as you would have living in your own house

Doesn't make sense in India

hotel living mogs

but it has to be a different hotel all the time

A lot of wealthy folks in the early 20th century lived in hotels for years.
