One trend I've recently seen blowing up is digital nomads bypassing traditional apartment rentals, subletts, and even Airbnb and they are moving into hotels permanently.
I know a few people like they permanently live in hotel chains. Like park Hyatt or Marriott or something like that. You can also negotiate a yearly or monthly deals if you are planning to be permanent resident. It ironically is cheaper for many rich people because they get easy airport access, no staff management, no cooking, no maintainance, premium concierge service, housing/laundry/security all taken care of. Also very flexible.
Howard Hughes popularized this. He lived in a 5 star hotel for 30 years
