Links aren't working properly, but you can click on the individual procedures.

Not personally interested in any of these, but I was impressed by these results.

Sounds weird on paper but a lot of these results actually look good. What do you think?

Lips:

Eyebrows:

Good for the guy with the scarred lip.

Good eyebrows are far more important than your lip colour. Microblading can look good. They only last a 1-3 years. Though they very rarely look natural. They almost always look over-managed and homosexual.

I may consider it for my non-existent eye brows.

Why not Eyebrow transplant instead? It can thicken, straighten and lower eyebrows if placed below the already existing eyebrow

Microblading isn't permanent (even though it's sometimes marketed as that). It only last about a year, maybe a year and a half and then your body pushes out the ink because microblading is shallow cuts filled with ink, not as deep as a normal tattoo.

Having a normal tattoo on your eyebrows does not look as good, and you can't get the fine precision of microblading. It will just look like you used makeup under your eyebrows.

The only real non cope solution for eyebrows is an eyebrow transplant tbh

minoxidil (In Rogaine) is not a cope for those who are genetic responders to it. I looked into microblading at first, found out it's not permanent and then started minoxidil and I believe my eyebrows have become thicker.

You have to apply twice a day for 1 and a half years (more or less depending on the person. Varies greatly), after that the results are permanent and you don't need to keep applying. There's lots of info on it, on youtube.

Minoxidil is proven to lower collagen. Have you noticed any collagen loss or ageing in your face?
Puts me off trying it

It's hard to say.

Scalp

Balding is partly caused by increased scar tissue that builds up on the scalp so reducing collagen production locally is a good thing.

There are no studies that shows that when you apply it to the scalp, enough minoxidil will reach the face tissues to cause any effect.

I'll probably keep applying to my scalp once a day.

Eyebrows and Beard Growth

As far as applying it on eyebrows and beard growth, the likelihood that it could reach sensitive areas like under the eyes is greater.

People who use it report, that if they use it for their beard growth for 1 year or 1 and a half years, they are able to keep their gains. The theory behind this is that you wait for the new vellus hairs to become full grown hairs, and then they can sustain themselves after. But I've also read that gains are not sustained when you discontinue use, as blood vessels will become small again, and go away after one month of discontinued use, so this is something I will experiment with.

The life cycle of eyebrow hairs is 3 to 4 months. For me, having thick eyebrows is more important. I'm not getting any new hairs on my eyebrows, only thicker existing hairs, so the timing of the life cycle is not be as important. I will not continue to use on my eyebrows daily because of the risk of college loss around the eye area, but I will attempt to find a minimum effective cycling dose through experimentation, and see how long the thicker eyebrows are sustained after a 1-2 month cycle, which is enough for me to get thicker darker eyebrows. Ideally, if I could just do a 1-2 month cycle on my eyebrows every X years, then I don't think that's too bad.

I can get dark eyebrows in about 1 month of daily minoxidil application. Annual microblading is another solution for eyebrows, but that's more expensive, carries it's own risks, is and less natural looking. But it's a preference thing, and minoxidil doesn't work for everyone.

Yeah I fell over when younger and have a scar in one eye row, by the other one is thinner too as a result.
If it won't increase the actual hair follicle numbers then I don't think it's for me and I'll have to cope with other softmaxxes or gt an eyebrow transplant one day

It increases hair follicle numbers for some people, I've seen it in videos for people tracking their beard growth. But I think you have to be missing some hair follicles, in places they're normally suppose to grow. I'm not missing any areas of my eyebrows, so it just made the existing hairs thicker.

So it's possible it could recover your missing hair follicles. It's pretty cheap, to at least do a 30 day experiment, to see.
