I don't understand the point of these hierarchies when they only apply to people who are average looking.

Obviously, the better looking you are, the less race matters, but for the average people that it applies to, isn't it mostly luck?

There was that old study where Asian men had to make loads more money than White men to be equally as attractive, but is it really that big of a deal when the difference is between getting lucky, or getting lucky?

Race is still important. Equal in importance to looks. Even if it is luck it is still informative to quantify the difference.

For non-white passing menas, it's probably in the yellow section. Of course, it varies by phenotype.
