My mandible is relatively small, meaning compared to my maxilla. The go to surgery in such case is bimax (?). However the problem is, that I don't lack forward growth. I thought about getting MSE and lower jaw expansion done, but I'm really not that young anymore (23), and I don't know of any surgeon or orthodontist that would do this on me (here in Germany) , + there's risks associated with it to the TMJ, surgery failure, infection etc. There's a chance that I have sleep apnea (snoring slightly). If this is the case, I could maybe use this as an argument for mandible advancement. Also my wisdom tooth was removed because of an infection. This is the reason I want to expand both of my palates, and place an implant there (yes I know, sounds ridiculous, but I'm mental).

So my question is, can anyone give me an rational advice what to do in my case? Moreover I'm really interested in the possibility of obtaining 1 mile wide palate.

Go to dr. Z and discuss it further with him.

I have relatively small jaw, meaning it doesn't catch up with my upper half.

Can I see bro because if this is only the problem a simple bimax will make you ascend hard, but there is also a problem with your eye area while you have good bone mass the shape isnt ideal at all (still good just not “very” good) come private if you re interested
