I've been prescribed equasym XL which is basically ritalin (methylphenidate hydrochloride). I started the first week with 10mg and second with 20mg and it hasn't done much. I've not been able to focus in school and I'm still not able to study at home for more than 15 minutes without getting distracted or zoning out. I want to get to a point where I can hyperfocus for hours on end and actually get good output since I'm smart but my focus is dogshit, mostly due to adhd and getting distracted easily.

Would anything like Alpha GPC, snus or creatine be helpful ??

I'm 15 so school isn't that serious right now but I have exams for schools which will be important gateways into good universities so please recommend really helpful supps that I can implement into my stack to actually be able to focus.

Lifestyle advice would also be greatly appreciated, e.g. fixing circadian rhythm, staying hydrated or just ways of studying.

Gb-115 and unifiram have both helped me a ton and i think they could take the edge of while helping with focus motivation and memory

I would recommend one of the racetams (anaracetam or piracetam for example) paired with alpha gpc. The racetams increase acetylcholine utilization, so they pair together nicely.

I personally found this combo made studying and parsing new info easier, even when the material wasn't that interesting.

You can start with 1-2g of piracetam daily and something like 150mg of alpha gpc.

I've had good enough results with Alpha-GPC, Piracetam, Noopept

zyn+methylphenidate works HELLA well
def drink electrolytes (try coconut water) and consume antioxidants for oxidative stress (try 100% dark chocolate)
also try 30mg

if u have important tests just take adhd meds but don't over do them to not build dependency

for now continue titrating but in future

obviously 10 mg dose of ritalin is equivalent to around 5mg of Adderall, which is only 75% dextroamphetamine. adhd psychostimulants should be your baseline mechanism to study. if methylphenidate doesn't work, even teenagers can be prescribed dexamfetamine as second line treatment. dex is significantly more potent, which is why for your age it was not in your first available options.

here's my regimen while fucking going through it working 18 hours at my desk everyday
Sertraline (100mg), Propranolol (40mg), Dexamfetamine IR (20mg), L-theanine (200mg), Caffeine (100mg), Creatine Monohydrate (5g), Omega-3 High EPA (1g), and Magnesium Glycinate (400mg)

for me, 20mg of dex is a significant therapeutic dose. caffein acts as the adenosinergic modulator, synergised with dex creates the ideal sympathetic surge. propranolol, L-theanine, and sertraline are introduced to counteract the excessive sympathetic arousal and heightened anxiety. these three specifically avoid sedating the cognitive faculties.

last includes creatine, omega-3 and magnesium glycinate. these address the brain's energy demands and protection against the excitotoxicity inherent in stimulant use. creatine for brain energy homeostasis, works as cognitive fatigue mitigation, I particularly enjoy it for when attending client meetings while sleep deprived. omega-3 for neuroprotection. magnesium glycinate as the NMDA gatekeeper, magnesium helps tolerance reduction to stimulant use and glycinate synergises by componenting its use as an inhibitory neurotransmitter which helps sleep quality.

maybe some of those could help

did you titrate up to 20mg yourself or doctor's instructions?

I blast like 1500mg alpha gpc pre study sessions, pretty sick if u mix with electrolytes and 400mg caffeine, might give u a headache tho

psych's instructions, I had self dosed higher for a while because of impatience but I ended up running short on my script on multiple occasions
