I asked my surgeon for PEEK or hydroxoapatite infraorbital/malar implants but he said that was no need for PEEK (cause expensive) and as I understood he doesn't work with Hydroxoapatite.
So he offered PMMA bone cement saying it was biocompatible, porous and the quality is almost the same as those other two.
I heard Pmma was dangerous and NOT good to introduce on your body. Anyone know the side effects of using bone cement?

i think theyre fine, have been used in medical treatment for a while. they have downsides but its best you research them yourself and make a decision

Plz tell me the downsides 🥺

Bone paste is shit. Eppley posted an x-ray showing what happens to bone paste a few years after it's inserted, and while I can't find the post, it looked terrible: Shapeless, bloated, deformed.
