depends on the time period and how long you have been working at the company.

I took 8 weeks of sick paid leave when I had surgery in march. (They didn't care and payed me.)

My current company for sure would give me paid or unpaid time off. However, I am graduating this semester and I want to start at a larger company. That's my dilemma

I think you would probably need to wait at least 6 weeks or something or at least however long your probation period is. It would probably look really bad tho if after you joined shortly after your probation you took a ton of sick pay.

sounds legit

as a independent delivery app driver idont have that type of pto

yeah but I am not asking for PTO or sickdays. I just want a leave of absence. I think once I get offers from companies I'll talk with them about scheduled surgery if they don't accept it fuck'em.

Yeah I think thats the best bet tbh If you tell them once they offer you the position or something. How long do you want off?

Yeah I think thats fine just tell them in advance tbh 1 month isn't that bad I don't see why they would care especially if its unpaid.

bcs employers are bitch in the US, especially in construction. @Gaia262 how long does it take to return to work after bimax?

When I broke my arm I got as much time as I needed off (ended up being about 10 days), paid. Any company thats not a massive multinational will be understanding.

If just a bimax then minimum 2 weeks. Ideally 2 months for swelling and to regain weight lost from surgery.

You will look messed up at 2 weeks by alot.

Maybe you could wear a mask at work and just say you feel ill and don't want to to spread anything.

dear sir, for how long was your face messed up quite bad? When can bimax patients expect the swelling to lower substantially? Wonderful results btw, hope it ascended you as desired.

Thanks bro :) I had alot more than bimax so mine was messed up for a long time. I would say 3 months at least.

Really 6 months is when you can walk around close to how you were before. But there will still be some residual swelling.
