POSSIBLE METHOD TO CAPITALISE ON LOOKISM/HALO EFFECT (even if you’re subhuman GTFIH)

I just had what i believed is a very good idea if you sell items on eBay, vinted or any other online marketplace. FYI I haven’t actually tried this already, I intend to try.

As we know the halo effect is very real and influences everyone’s decision making in interactions with other humans. On online marketplaces I don’t see why this would be any different.

My idea is to set my avi as a very attractive female (change my user to a foids name too), and that should in theory get me way more sales and negotiation when selling/buying should go a lot smoother too. For this method you can’t just set the avi as a famous Stacy in a professional photoshoot (water) it has to look like a believable photo taken on a phone casually.

This may be water however I have never heard anyone else say this, the idea came to me when I was taking a shit. Ima try this method and update you guys if it works; if anyone else here occasionally sells stuff online I recommend you try the same, I’d be very interested to hear how it works for you.

BTW we need to gatekeep this if it works, feels like we can’t have shit anymore lol

Most sites have multiple postage company options (I think you can usually opt for using one company in settings if one’s more convenient), postage methods vary company to company

The one I use just requires me to stick a label to my parcel and then I drop it off at a locker
