Do this correctly every day and it's basically physically impossible you get back pain. Plus you fully elongate your posterior chain - potentially the strongest muscles in the body. You also work your foot arches so I wouldn't be surprised if you noticed some height gains.

Look up foundation training scoliosis if you're already bent and asymmetric.

The guy also did a few Ted Talks where he explains the unexpected physical consequences of technology and the use of cannabinoids for long-term well-being.
