Premolar extractions

Never let your ortho extract your premolars as the first option for bite correction.
Always ask for alternatives. extractions should be the last resort. If they mess it up, you’re cooked.

If the extractions are done wrong, it can completely flatten your profile and ruin your midface. Your maxilla will get recessed and your whole look takes a hit.

Look at these pics — left side has way better upper lip support and midface projection.
On the right, after premolar extractions, you can clearly see longer philtrum, sunken midface, and worse maxilla

this. bitch ass jew orthos tried to take mine out because my palate is giga-narrow to create room for the crowding, would've made things only a whole lot worse. now i have a consultation with a maxillofacial surgeon so hopefully i can get my arches expanded instead to create room.
